Hi Candice,
My name is Aaron and I am from Texas. I
first want to say that I love your music. I
enjoy playing it and sitting back and
letting the tones and lyrics wash over me. I
have noticed you have wonderful taste in
clothing. I don't know if you have already
answered this question, but I was wondering
if you could tell me where to find
Renaissance dresses and outfits like yours.
I love the handkerchief hem skirts, the
shirts with billowy sleeves, and beautiful
bodices. Thank you.
Aaron
Hi Aaron
What a beautiful descriptive of the
music...I'm glad we could help with your
escape to a more beautiful world. It has
taken quite a while to put these outfits
together...a piece here and there and it
becomes your own. I always encourage people
add themselves and their own personality to
their costumes to make it distinctly their
own style. As for me, I get my skirts from
http://silkcloque.com/. David and Dorita do
amazing work. They as well as Hilary from
Fashions In Time just clothes my bridesmaids
for my wedding and the girls all said they
have never felt more beautiful. Hilary now
does my corsets and tops. She can be found
here: http://fashionsintime.com/ . Tell them
that I sent you so they have the vision of
what you would like ready for you.
Enjoy!
Candice
Dear Candace,
I recently came across the Guitar World
article that both you and Ritchie were in. I
seen Deep Purple a couple of times back when
Ritchie was in the band. As you know he’s
fantastic and its certainly Deep Purples
loss. But I think I understand a little of
the mindset for his direction and your
collaboration with the music that you both
are currently involved in. Having played
guitar in many Chicago based bands and
looking to Ritchie as one of my own personal
mentors from a musical standpoint, I myself
after these 28 years of playing continually
find that I need to change. But in so doing
what I’ve learned is the music that I
totally love is more heartfelt, its less
angry and obnoxious, and ends up being the
music that first brought me to the guitar.
So hence my discovery of your music (I know
I’m a little late, but better late than
never!!). I’m also a big Jimmy Page fan and
when I had seen him on tour some time back
he had a guy who played the Hurdy Gurdy. And
after reading the Guitar World article where
you talk about using the Hurdy Gurdy its got
me interested in potentially buying one. I
looked on eBay but if you had a
recommendation that would be great. Also I
would like to purchase your Secret Voyage cd
but I don’t see it available on your site.
Am I missing it? I looked under your
merchandise link and I see all the other
cd’s as well as other merchandise for the
Secret Voyage release, I just don’t see the
music.
I also looked at your tour link and I don’t
see anything coming up for the States but
hopefully soon!!! Looking at some of your
pictures of places you’ve played, the
following link is to the Bristol
Rennaissance fair which is located right
between Chicago and Milwaukee. Maybe when
you guys look to come to the States again,
you’ll consider playing there. It would be
great to come see you guys live.
Thanks and have a safe New Year.

Hi Mike!
We get so many similar comments from people
who read that Guitar World article! Your are
certainly now alone in your thoughts...Hurdy
gurdy got your interest, hmmm... you have
come to the right place. I can recommend the
person who does both my hurdy gurdy and
Ritchie's. He is based in Germany but ships
to USA and does amazing work. You will love
this instrument. His name is Helmut and he
can be found here:
http://www.gotschy.com/english/index.html
As far as Secret Voyage is concerned,
because it is so new we don't have it
available on our site due to record company
licensing restrictions.
So I would recommend
ordering from Amazon.
But of course if you
would like any of the other cds or dvds, you
can go to our
merchandise
page.
I'll be looking into the faire you
recommended...looks like a good one!
Thanks...
Love,
Candice

Aino from
Finland
Hello Aino,
I am so sorry to hear about your cat.
Animals are so amazing...they have an other
worldly connection to us. They give without
expecting and love unconditionally. One of
the hardest losses to deal with is the loss
of your pet. But know, that in your love for
her, she is still around. You may feel her
or hear a purring or feel her step on your
bed at night. They don't leave as quickly as
their physical being. Their spirit and soul
is there and if you close your eyes, you
will feel her with you.
Some day, when you are ready to give love
again, another animal will be ready to
receive it- this doesn't take the place of
your cat. But there are many animals who
need love...and you seem so kind and giving.
Don't rush it...only when you are ready
again...
Heal first, revel in her memories and know
she loves you still...
Love and light,
Candice
