Hi,
my name is Silvia i am 31 years old, i have
been in a relationship with one man for 11
years NEVER cheated but he has and now 4 kids
later he is cheating again but totaly denyes
it i have that womans number but dont know
her name or if she knows about me or our kids
all i know is that they call her chola, i
herd once that her name might be christina
but in not sure, SO THATS MY IMPOSIBLE QUESTION
I NEED ANSWERED, PLEASE!!!! CAN YOU HELP ME?
Hello Silvia,
My heart breaks to hear the problems that
you are having. Its so difficult to even know
for sure, especially if he's denying it or
evasive or distant. If you know for sure that
this is happening, you need to be very strong.
Your first priorty is to your children. They
are innocent beings and it will be so difficult,
but you need to protect their innocence even
though you are hurting inside. Then you must
take care of yourself. Any man who would do
that to you isn't worth being around. If he
is a good father, then you will have to keep
him in your life at some point for your children's
sake even though it is easier to make a clean
cut and never see him again. But if he is
falling short on not only his relationship
with you, but with your children as well...then
I believe it is better to have 1 strong, healthy
minded and loving parent than 2 when 1 is
deceitful and hurtful.
But before you make any decisions, talk to
him. See if you can get him to tell you the
truth. Perhaps it is just insecurity in which
case there is still an issue of why you don't
trust him. But if you know for sure, rely
on friends and family to help you out emotionally
and keep you strong until you can rely on
yourself.
Never let someone disrespect or take advantage
of you or your children. You deserve much
more...
Also, bevery aware of clues he may leave.
You can leave voice activated tape recorders
around the house and in the car or check his
voice mails. You may find his phone calls
are innocent. Either way, knowledge is power...
Stay strong.
Much love
Candice
dear candice,
when i was 8 i moved from holland to ireland,
i was soon inspired by the irish music. the
lively tunes are great. whem i moved back
to holland after a few years (when i was 13)
i kind of forgot about that sort of music.
when i got a bit older i got into the goth
style thing you know. i started listening
to different kinds of goth music and i also
started listening to pagan style music and
therefore also to blackmore's night. i was
amazed by the lovely tunes and your beautiful
voice! there is also a bit of an irish sound
to it i find. i love to dance around to your
music. it makes me feel like i used to feel
when i was 8. it makes me feel great. whenever
i get home from a hard day at school i put
on your music during home work and it makes
me calm down a bit and helps me concentrate.
i am on a choir at the moment to improve my
vocal skills. i want to become just as good
at singing as you are. i also want to be in
a band when i grow up. i love the celtic style.
do you have any hints on how to get in a band
like you are? it would be a dream come true
to be able to perform in a band!
well that was my story. i would be really
happy if you wrote back to me! and again,
i adore your music and you are my number one
idol.
lots of love and kisses, from didi
ps: im 17 at the moment so you know that you
also have fans in my age group, haha.
Hello Didi,
Well, it seems as if you have music in your
soul and you know once it is in there it enchants
you and you are under its spell...and that
is a wonderful thing, because when you are
enchanted the colors seem brighter, you observe
things more deeply, you feel on levels that
others can't, or choose not to or simply block
out... And you are right, certain songs should
always be able to release the inner child
in you no matter how old or how young you
are. It is important to keep that child alive.
Always...
I'm sure that one day, when you are ready,
your dream of being in a band will come true.
The first step is finding others with musical
interests that you have. Even if they don't
play instruments, they may know others who
do. But I always think that bonding with people
and being friends with them 1st is the way
to have a happy band because then you can
communicate a lot easier than people who just
"clock in and clock out" for the
purpose of playing for money or attention.
When you have unity with your band mates,
your experiences will be wonderful because
you will have similar interests and that is
a great foundation to start with. Once you
feel good about them, the next step is their
level of musicality and how well they play.
This is where the list of possible members
gets even shorter- it is difficult to find
the right people. But in the end, it is so
worth it.
In our band there is even more criteria to
get through; besides having to be a good person,
you have to play well enough to handle not
only rock but folk, pop, tavern music, ballads,
everything! And play with sensitivity... that
is a key factor. Then you must have the "minstrel"
look. You must be able to leave home for over
a month at a time for tour... Luckily you
don't have to look for all of those things...so
I hope it will be easier for you to find your
band/soul mates...
Good luck! And let me know how it goes...
Love
Candice
I have to admit, I didn’t
know what Richie was doing at the moment,
until, that is I placed an order with Roger
of Fylde Guitars. I have now picked up on
everything you have done with Blackmore’s
Night and I must say you have one of the sweetest
voices I have heard for many a year, probably
since the blessed Sandy Denny. I hope you
continue to produce such wonderful music for
many years to come.
To let
you into a secret, I was up at dawn this
morning and walked through the woods which
are attached to my garden. I played some
of Fires at midnight as I walked. It was
magical !
Any chance of a tour of
Welsh castles? (they’re better than
the German ones !!!!!)
May the blessings of The
Awen be upon you both.

Hello Richard,
What a nice compliment...thank
you! And I will have to thank Roger for
spreading the word of our music through
Fylde! Ritchie has quite a few of Roger's
creations by now... They are all in special
places around the house..each to its own
chair or couch. If he gets any more I will
be forced to sit on the floor since there
seems to be no room left in our den...
It is so good to hear of
you appreciating the beauty of the woodlands...to
many overlook the incredible magic nature
offers us daily... breathe it in...it is
truly cleansing of the spirit...
Actually, I hear that we
will be back in Wales later this year, which
is so exciting for me because it has been
such a long time since we played there last!
I believe Cardiff is where we are going,
though they never seem to book us into castles,
but theaters when we play the UK. It is
a shame because I have often heard that
Wales has such incredible castles and have
yet to see one! Perhaps this time we will
be able to at least have a day off there,
if not to play in a castle, then at least
to go exploring and experience some... To
see the latest tour dates, click
here.
See you in Wales...
Love and light,
Candice
Hi
Ms Night...
I found your music via "Fairy Magazine",
and rapidly became addicted! In "real
life", I'm a 41 yr old speech-language
pathologist, however I've also realized
a long held dream and for the last 5 years
I've been studying voice. I've been a choral
singer all my life...
I'm a contralto with a decidely "folk"
sound to my voice, and am always looking
for sheet music in the lower range...Is
any of Blackmore's Night's music avaliable
in sheet music form??
Thank you for your time in reading this!
Barb Froman (in da sticks of Manitoba, Canada)
Dear Barb,
We are big fans of Faerie Magazine here!
They are certainly helping to keep the realm
of magic alive! This year I will continue
to represent them as their Faerie Queen
at some Faerie Festivals across the USA...but
more on that as it approaches...
You sound as if you have a very rich tone
to your voice...that is beautiful and rare
these days. All of our music is available
in songbooks which include the lyrics, and
all parts for all instruments played. You
can find it available here.
And while you're at the Blackmore's Night
store you can see all the other items available
for sale. Pendants, goblets...and many other
interesting items...
Stay well and keep singing!
Love and faerie light,
Candice
Hello! I
noticed you have a poems page. How do you
submit a poem to be displayed on
your site. I didn't see a link or anything.
I was just curious.
My name is Jane, and I am
25 years old living in the United States.
This
year I will be moving to Denmark.
I love your website! My
boyfriend just introduced me to Blackmore's
Night
this past month. You're his favorite band,
and fast becoming mine too!! Your
voice is the lovliest one I've heard on
a woman, and I love the style of
music you use it on. I love Celtic and Renaissance
music....I suppose that's
because it always makes me want to dance
like a gypsy barefoot in the woods
around a bonfire.
What I'm saying is that
your music is magical for me, it transports
me to
another world that I thrive in and inspires
me to do things in the real
world. I thank you and the rest of your
band for giving me that beautiful
escape.
I hope that when I am in
Denmark that my small family (My son, my
boyfriend
and myself) can see your band play live.
We would all love the experience!!
Truly~Jane
Hello Jane,
It seems as if we have a lot in common.
Keep drawing from the beautiful nature that
surrounds you...it truly is where real magic
lives and breathes.
To submit a poem, simply send it to me here
at the same address you emailed your question
to.I will personally read it and post it
on my page to join the others and for all
the world to read as well...
Much love to you, your son and boyfriend
too...
