Hi!
My name is Sonia, I'm 20 years old and I love your music!!  I was wondering if you are coming in Montreal, in the province of Quebec, Canada.  If you are, when and where exactly???  By the way, I have look all over your lyrics page but I was not abble to find "sake of song"... so if you know where I can find it.... it would be appreciate!!
Take good care and may your music gives peace and hope to everyone.
Sonia Bélanger

Hello Sonia,
That is a great question-I would love to know when we are going to play Quebec too! Ritchie often mentions the Chateau (the large castle ) there which he thinks would be great for us to play in...but for some reason the agents haven't been able to make it work and I haven't heard much about the prospect of touring there lately... I don't know why. I am going to look into it and find out what is going on. If you know of a venue that would be good for our music, please let me know so that I can pass that information along, I would really love to play Quebec. Thank you also for bringing it to my attention that the lyrics for Sake of Song were not on the lyric page. I suppose it got overlooked because it was a bonus track- I had not realized it. So, they are on there now! May your world be filled with music...
Love and light,
Candice

Hi Candice!
First of all: the show in Wertheim was really great! Thanks to Rainer I was able to sit in the front row. It was the first time I saw Ritchie on stage (for me he is the world's best musician). Your voice was brilliant this evening! (by the way: I took some good photos) The only problem was the security.........
This year we were on holiday in Portugal....do you know a town called Obidos?
I'm not sure, I never read about it on ritchieblackmore.com. Just tell me if you want some photos. (this is just an offer, you don't have to answer.)
By the way, your music is very inspiring...my favourite album is "Under a Violet Moon"...I hope there will be a new album in 2003 or 2004.
Best wishes to you and Ritchie,
(I hope you understand everything)
Yours
Katharina

Hello Katharina (what a beautiful name...)
I totally agree with you- Ritchie is the world's greatest musician. He never fails to amaze me. Thank you for the compliments on my voice as well. Wertheim was such a beautiful venue, really magical... we are trying to get to play it again this year. Please say "Hello" to Rainer and Susanne if you see them. I have never been to Portugal, although I have heard that there are many beautiful places there. I hope to be able to play there one day so I can see and experience the beauty of the land. And if you suggest Obidos, I will have to look into that town!
Yes, I promise you we will have a new album out soon...I am very excited about the way it is turning out! I wish I could tell you more about it, but then it wouldn't be a surprise when it did come out...
I will pass on your regards to Ritchie too- and your English is excellent!
Love and light,
Candice

Hi Candice,
What a great start to your own web site - looks really good.
How can I get to hear/buy your two new songs... and when will the CD be available (in the UK?).
When are Ritchie and yourself coming back to play in the UK - especially the pasty part of the country!!
Best wishes,
Kevin Staden
Devon, UK

Hello Kevin,
I'm glad you like the website...it's an on going project. Still a lot to be done, but I am really happy with how it is turning out- glad you agree! My 2 songs (which are really demos for the solo album, I still have some more ideas I'd like to use and revamp them a bit) are available right now for sale on the merchandise page of
www.blackmoresnight.com  . The band and I are planning on coming back to the UK in a couple of months... but wondering if by your last comment you meant the "cornish pasty" part of the country? Yum.... :)
See you soon (with lots of new songs)
Love and light,
Candice

Greetings and well met!  I have a couple of questions for you.  Number one, do you mind if we fans inquire as to your age?  I am 29 and live in a very musical family.  We are all quite the gypsy travellers, I have never had a "home" for more than a couple years in a row at most.  One of our most favorite past times is the Texas Renaissance Festival, held in the fall of the year.  It is the largest in the nation.  Question number 2, have you and Ritchie and your band ever thought of attending TRF, perhaps during some time off?  We would absolutely be honored to see you all there.  Every year I gather the fall spirit around me in preparation for this faire with a
mixture of incense, lovely garb and Blackmore's Night.  Many thanks for answering my question.
Elen Sila Lúmenn' Omentielvo!
Tricia

Hello Tricia,
No, I don't mind telling you my age...as long as you don't tell anyone else! Actually, I am 31...but really don't believe much in numbers. I see people defying the number that an age lables them as all the time so I don't put much credibility in ages. I believe wisdom, and innocence and old souls dicatate their own "age category" for people.
I can certainly relate to the gypsy-style life! But it sounds as if you and your family have a very interesting adventure going... Isn't it wonderful to have a musical family and be surrounded by music your whole life? I had the same situation, both my parents play piano and sing, I had taken piano lessons and voice at a very young age (starting at 4!) and my brother and sister played sax, guitar, and flute. I think it is so healthy to surround yourself with music... it inspires creativity, imagery, imagination, sensitivity... I am always wary of someone who "isn't really into music"- it tells me a lot about them.  For me, music is everything... I believe you can be a musician at heart without even playing an instrument! Its about the appreciation of the music. There are many people who can play an instrument but not feel it... It is funny that you mention the Texas Renaissance Faire! Ritchie and I were just talking about visting that one if we aren't touring at that time period this year. I have heard it is one of the biggest and really amazing. Perhaps we will see you there...keep your gypsy spirit...
Love, light and incense ! ,
Candice
