Hello
Candice,
I missed you at the Shrewsbury Pa Faerie
Festival. My scedule only allowed for me
to be there Saturday. Please tell me you'll
be there next year.
Thanx,
Chris
Hi Chris,
I've only been schedued to appear at the
3 faires that you have read of on my website,
but I have to tell you I have had such an
amazing time at all of them. I met so many
incredible people and it inspires me so
much to see so many that still believe in
the realm of magic, in the simple beauties,
in the majesty of nature. I have been blessed
by crossing paths with those who have attended
the faerie fests and have stopped by to
say hello. I would love to do it again next
year and promise that if it is to be, I
will have it on my website as soon as I
find out. Let's do it all again next year....
Love and light and faerie dust,
Candice

Dear Candice,
I don´t know if you
will read these some words, I hope so,because
I would like to send you my thankses, that
I could spent so much lovely time with you.At
the concert in Prague,It was amazing.
I just have one ask, who
has the idea to mix Mond Tanz and Child
in time together? It is something like a
joke from you?Because these two songs are
soo different,I think it is amazing,I like
it very much. And I also like your new CD
Village lanterne,I can´t stop hear
it,it gives me such a good mood,in these
hard days, when my good friend is so ill.You
are great,thank you for all!!!
I hope you have good flight
and wish you very happy birthday and nice
party on monday!!!!
Lovely greetings Jana
Hello Jana,
Yes, we had
such a wonderful time at the show in Prague.
Thank you!
It was Ritchie's idea to mix the two songs
together. Sometimes, when we rehearse, you
have to do a lot of repetition and so Ritchie
will throw in different songs just to mix
it up a bit. He usually goes into a Hendrix
tune or Cream riff, one day he went into
"Child". I started singing and
he liked the way it sounded. Especially
with the range of the twins siging the climing
vocal part. And now that we have been playing
Mond Tanz on stage for almost 10 years,
we have added new things to that song as
well. The tempo is different, the arrangement...
so we just thought it would be good to rerecord
it with the style that we play it in now...
And in that Moon Child was reborn!
Love and light,
Candice
hi there
just a quick email to ask is ritchie as bad
to get on with as his other band members make
out i saw him throw water at ian gillian once
on stage' it seems he' got a bit of a temper.
can i just say that i love the music you are
making . and your voice is fantastic . keep
up the good work
many thanks
martin
Hi Martin,
Ritchie is very easy to get along with if
you give 100% of yourself, because thats what
he does. If you are on stage and give less
than 100%, that's where it gets tricky. I
was actually there for the incident you are
referring to and the truth was that he threw
the water at the cameraman. That cameraman
was asked 3 times to get off stage so he wouldn't
get between Ritchie and the audience. If you
paid money to see Ritchie play and only got
to see the back of a cameraman's head all
night, wouldn't you be annoyed? So, they asked
tehcameraman to move. But he woudn't. So,
what you saw was Ritchie's temper, but not
for the reasons you may have thought...There's
always a method to the madness.
Thanks for your kind words...
Love and light,
Candice
Dear Lady Candice
I am Johann Alemy ,19, from Iran.I have to
confess I'm in love with your music -and with
lord Blackmore. you can feel jealous!!!! :))
- and you can't believe the depth of sympathy
between your music and me. I feel every note
which is played and sung with all my soul.
I am starting a band named "The Nothing"
and want to know what is the procedure of
making a music (I mean how to start composing,
music is first or lyric and....). because
of some of my beliefs about arts, I don't
know many things about music theory and composing.my
other question is about lord Blackmore's method
to practice guitar(I want to know the length,
and the way) because he is my second god and
I deeply believe he was, is and is going to
be the best. of course so you are and these
are NOT compliments or flattering, they are
the pure truth.
Your answer to my questions will certainly
be a great help to a young but great fan,
a religious brother, and a young BLACKMORE'S
NIGHT follower.
Please please please please please please
please please please please please please
please please please please please please
please please please please please please
answer my questions and give me the great
honor and establish an intimate relationship
with me. BLACKMORE'S NIGHT IS A PERFECT AND
ADMIRABLE MOVEMENT AND REVOLUTION IN MUSIC.

Johann**********Alemy
Hello Johann,
Thank you for your kind words...you sound
like a very passionate artist indeed. I am
glad that you started a band...music is the
best outlet we will ever find, I believe.
I am not schooled in theory or concept as
far as making music is concerned. I never
took courses in how to write music. Music
is something that comes from within, and I
think that even if someone tries to explain
their process to you it is only their process
that they are explaining. Your journey lies
within your own process and if you try to
follow how someone else does it, then you
are following a path they have already made.
Make your own. It doesn't matter what comes
first. Everyone has their own way... When
I write with Ritchie, he writes the melody
line first. Then I try to imagine what pictures
the melody is painting in my head and I channel
those pictures into words for you to sing
along with. Sometimes, the words come from
memories, from visuals, from experiences,
from dreams. Sometimes they will start with
a line or a poem that I began years before.
Sometimes they come from seemingly nowhere...
But when I write by myself, the words and
music either come at the same time, or I find
myself humming a melody that is trying to
come through. Sometimes I look at my journals
or poems and just start making up melody lines
to the words that are on the page. Try it
all different ways. See what works best for
you at different times. But above all else,
allow yourself to be open. To see through
innocent eyes, to dream, to imagine... There
is a beautiful world in the process of creating
music. You just have to find your own path.
Once you begin it, you will find there is
nothing else like it in the world.
One more thing...I suppose it is a strange
thing to develop an "intimate" relationship
over emails...but then again if you know me
through my music, you know me intimately anyway...

Dear Candice:
Have you ever thought touring
South America? We’ll be happy to see
you in Chile.
Candice… Did you make
the backing vocals when Ritchie came with
Rainbow in 1997.? I heard some voice but
I couldn’t see faces.
Long Live to the Master
of Masters “Ritchie”
Saludos,
Marcos Martínez
Hello Marcos,
Yes, I think about touring
in South America all the time...I hope dreaming
will make it come true some day soon. Dreams
have a powerful effect sometimes...
Yes, that was me singing background vocals
in 1997 for Rainbow. Usually kept way in
the back of the stage off to the side. You
probably heard me more featured on Ariel
than anything else...
Hope to see you in Chile!
Love and light,
Candice
