| Dear
Candice, I
just want to thank you for your wonderful
music. Actually I like Deep
Purple and I`m only a fan of BN for 1 year.
I wanted to see what kind of
music Ritchie now does and I bought Village
Lanterne. I heard the first song
and I was fascinated. I had never believe
that I would like this kind of
music, because I was always listen to hard
music as DP, Nazareth, Uriah
Heep. I saw your concert last year in Burg
Trausnitz Landshut and now I`m
looking forward to Burghausen!
Now my question: On the DVD castles and
dreams Ritchie is wearing a very
beautiful arm-ring on his left arm. I search
in many stores but I could not
find this kind of bracelet. Can you tell
me where I can by this?
I hope you can understand my bad english.
I wish you that all your dreams come true
for your birthday. My birthday was
on Sunday, nearly yours!
With all my love to you and Ritchie.
Brigitte
Hello Brigitte and
welcome to our family of fans!
Ritchie has a tendency to wear 2 bracelets.
One of them is black with red stones on
it. This one we got at a gothic shop at
St Marks Place in New York City. The other
one he wears is black (again...what a surprise...)
but it is bands of leather weaved into a
braid. This one we got at the Arizona Renaissance
Faire and every once in a while we see these
bracelets at market squares or in shops
around the world. They may be easier to
find. But check out your local goth shop,
they're usually in the big cities. Not all
their jewelry has spikes! Some of it translates
really well to what we wear...
Good luck!
Love,
Candice
Dear Candice
How was in Belgrade? I know a lot people loves

Do you plan to come to Belgrade again?
I`ll write again soon.

Hi Candice
Cant wait too see you again
up in bonnie Scotland,i`ve been a big Ritchie
Blackmore fan since the early eighties,
and it`s always a pleasure to see this great
man.OK thats enough of the praising, have
you got a support act for the uk tour.By
the way Candice you sing like an angel, see
you on the 10th.
John
Hi John,
Thanks, I'll pass the "praise"
along to the man... Yes! We have an AMAZING
opening band called Gothian. They are a
band that we discovered in the Czech Republic
and we had them open for us on our last
tour. They play traditional music and just
to see those girls play their shawms is
incredible!! Every member of the band excels
at what they do...and I think you'll really
enjoy them!
See you there...
Love,
Candice
Hello,
Please help. We love the dvd concert Castles
and Dreams and fell in love with the song
"Black Night" We have 5 cds and
not one of them has the song? Is it released
on a cd at all? If so, where can we find
it?
Also, I have been asking where we can find
a autographed photo for purchase but nobody
gets back to us on that? We'd be more than
willing to pay.
Thanks. With anticipation,
Mike and Debbie
Hello Mike and Debbie,
Interestingly enough "Black Night"
is a Deep Purple song. You can probably
find it on a compilation, as so many have
been released at this point. But originally
it was not found on an album, it was released
as a single.
For a photo, please contact Carole Stevens
at mnstrelhal@aol.com
and let her know where you would like it
sent.
Thanks for your question!
Love and light,
Candice
Hello, i did see a little bit of the song
"Ariel" in the dvd 02 of "castles
and dreams" , and i would like to hear
this song, but it isn't in any album of blackmore's
night. Can you help me ?
Thanks. Hi!
Ariel is actually the 1st song Ritchie and
I ever wrote together. But when we started
writing music, he was also involved in writing
and recording with the 1995 incarnation of
Rainbow. At one point, Ritchie mentioned giving
the song Ariel to Rainbow so that it would
be on the album they were recording because
the singer at the time was having a hard time
coming up with lyrics that Ritchie and the
producer were happy with. When he mentioned
recording Ariel with Rainbow, I was just so
happy that a song that I helped to create
was going to be recorded! So, Ariel, the way
we wrote it was not Ariel the way it turned
out on the album. We wrote it in a very acoustic,
magical style. But Rainbow was a rock band
so it needed to be plugged in and rocked up
a bit. If you are looking for it, you can
find the rockier version on the cd : Stranger
In Us All. We do play it in concert now, more
as the rock version than the original version.
It may even make it onto the new Paris DVD
when that is finished!
Thanks for your question.
Love,
Candice
