I hope you will be there on June 15th. So we can see you. Keep in touch.
With a bunch of love,

Hello Loren and Breanna,
That was a wonderful day! I was there on June 15th as well. I made sure that Nicole gave a cd to your Mom so that you could have the music of Magiquest with you always...I hope you got it and are dancing to it now!
Thank you for writing and come visit me in Magiquest in my castle tower whenever you want...

I hope you can come to one of my shows also! We'll have lots of fun...
Love,

Princess Candice

Hi

I'm new to your music but wanted to tell you that you have been an inspiration to me, your music has such a pure beauty and filled with amazing soul. Its strange that I seem to be the only person who knows of your music around my home, it always makes me calm and remember that no matter what happens there is always music i can turn to which gives me hope.

I wanted to ask you something not to do with music and may seem a bit stupid but here goes... Well i've always believed in magic, faery's and all the many wonderful things like that. Im 16 so people see me as being a little odd, but i stick by what i believe. Over the past few years people close to me have laughed and thought i was joking when i ever dared to mention this, but surley other people belive like me? Your music and website has everything i love and want to believe but i guess im too scared to, from all the nasty comments. Am I just foolish for beleiving? or am i right to stick by my soul? I know we should respect people's view but how come society would tolerate a Christian (no offence to any reading this) than someone like me?

Sometimes I get so lost and don't know who to believe and I thought you maybe able to give me adivice on whether to deal with the comments and keep believing or not. I will always feel that part of me is lost if i don't beleive but i dont know if I have the strength to stand by my opinion. Please help me. Again thank you for the beauty and hope you give to so many in your music.

Nic X

Dear Nic,
I can promise you that you are not the only one that feels the way you do. There are many of us out here...and I truly believe that if you put your thoughts out into the universe...others will feel your guiding light and your paths will cross. Sometimes it just takes time. There are many out there who are closed minded, mean, ignorant or simply not ready to even entertain thoughts of anything other than what they already know. Some only believe in what they can see in front of them at that moment. But many others know that there is a lot more out there. To believe in the realm of possibility that other realms exist.

Never allow someone else to curb your thoughts and your feelings...they are strictly your own and they have a strong sense of unique beauty. Even if sometimes you have to keep your thoughts to yourself...perhaps write them in a journal to keep them strong...your innermost beliefs aren't always for sharing anyway...thats what keeps them intimate and magical. Did you ever hear the lyric by Stevie Nicks that quotes "Now here I go again, I see some crystal visions...I keep my visions to myself..." Many of us do...until we are in the right circles. And in keeping some of your visions to yourself it is in itself empowering because you hold a secret no one else knows...

Your intuition is the strongest power you have. Always go by what you feel...and don't let insecurity or others steal that inner beauty and magic away... you are unique and beautiful...but not alone....
Stay true to yourself and it will all come together and make sense...that is the way of the universe...

Love and light...yours in song,
Candice

Dear Candice ,
my name is Kira i am 9 and will be turning 10 the 26 of April. My questions are: When I grow up can I be like you since you are my idol? If I ever have a talent show can I please sing and dance to the storm? Can I become you? Please replay.

Your Kid/ friend,
Kira Rall

Hello Sweet Kira,
I hope that you had a magical birthday and that all the wishes you made on your birthday candles came true!

To answer your questions, when you grow up and I hope that a part of you never does...you can be anything you want to be. I love that you love to listen to my music and that you want to be like me, but you know what? I'd rather you be just like YOU. Because no one else in the whole wide world is like you...you are very special. So always know that and never let anyone take that away.

I would love it if you sang and danced to the Storm. It is a great honor... and when you do please send me a tape so that I can see your performance.
Much love always,
Candice

Salve,carissima Candice!!!i hope you'll see this mail:)

I was in love with you and Blackmore's Night for a long, long time, and your concerts in Plovdiv and Sofia was the most interesting things for me. I'd like to ask you : do you know really the Rennaisance and Baroque music in the authentic sound? I hope. I ask you, because i'm a lute and guitar performer and ...it's so different indeed. But the spirit in your music whispers for the ...night, castles and ghosts:) I still love you and Ritchie and hope to see you..."some day":)))

Hello,

Ah...night, castles and ghosts? 3 of my favorite things...I could get lost in conversation or just thoughts about each of those- for hours...

Do you know , that when we are at home, all we listen to is music of the Renaissance period? That and folk music that we have picked up from different areas of the world- including yours! The sounds of Bulgarian bagpipes are unlike any other... But, yes, the beauty of the purity of Renaissance music is something entirely different. If you sit outside and feel the warm breezes rolling in as you listen to that type of music it really can transport you to another world, another time. It's beauty is so compelling.

It's a pleasure to "speak" with you my musician friend...play on....

Love,

Candice

Hi Candice

There's so much I want to say but find it difficult to find the words.I can't remember which song I first heard of yours that first made me aware of your music, but I instantly connected with it and immediately tracked down and bought all of your albums.

I see from your favourites page that one of your favourite bands is All About Eve. I was curious as to how you got to know them with you being from The US, and All About Eve being relatively unknown over there (and here for that matter!), and what your favourite songs by them are.

One of my favourite pastimes is to wander through the woods near my home (I live in the centre of Sherwood Forest) watching the squirrles playing, and just enjoying being so close to nature, with yours and All About Eve's songs playing in my head.

Only one more question... Is there any chance you could play in the UK more often? (pretty please!)

May you long continue to produce beautiful music
Much hugs, love & light
Bright blessings
Chris

Hello Dear Chris,
What a sweet and wonderful letter... there is nothing like being able to lose yourself to music in the middle of a wood...such a magical place. And when that wood is Sherwood Forest...well... such a place of legends ! All the more magic abounds...
You know, it is true that no one here in the United States that I speak with knows of All About Eve...it is such a shamewhat a hold these mighty corporations have on the radios here so that no one can hear variety...only what they will allow you to hear...so sad...

There are so many songs by All About Eve that I love. The lyrics are so descriptive and beautiful. Some of my favorites are The Pearl Fishermen, Ravens, Scarlet, Martha's Harbor...I could go on. I was introduced to their music by a friend of mine. A very old soul who at that time lived in Belgium. We met by chance and instantly, through letters, had a strong connection. I had said once before that there are few people that I meet that instantly have a calming, grounding effect. They are true salt of the earth- one with mother nature. She is one of them. She is an incredible artist and she actually created our Shadow of the Moon artwork and the Ghost of a Rose album artwork as well. She was the first to make me a tape of selected All About Eve songs...

Her name is Johanna Pieterman. You can see her creations here.
By the way- we will be back in the U.K. in October! Hope to see you there...
Love and light,
Candice
