We have lived here in
Prague for almost 5 years. We know all the best
places to eat and drink………………except
Cartouche!! Well we have booked on your recommendation.
I will let you know how it turned out.
Thanks for a great concert the
other night. We became acquainted with Blackmores
Night because I noticed a CD in town with Mr Blackmores
name and I couldn’t resist to hear what
he had done with himself. As I wrote on a concert
review the last time I saw Ritchie was in Brixton
Odeon many moons ago.
Well both my wife and myself were
captivated by the music you Ritchie and your band
produce. The live show was an enchanting experience
both from a musical point of view and also from
an aesthetic point of view. The atmosphere created
a sensation of a small intimate club instead of
the somewhat larger area in which the concert
took place. I have rarely seen an audience so
at one with the band.
Sorry the message lacks a question
apart from when will you return to Prague and
if you do …….well how about dinner
in Cartouche? Wishful thinking but a nice
way to end.
Good luck, good health and a good
life..

Hi Candice
(Ritchies Muse)
Saw the last 4 shows
on the UK tour which I Thoroughly enjoyed. The
quality of the music and performances were superb.
I was a bit dissapointed
by what was left out Hoping to hear Way To Mandaley
live especially, but I enjoyed Wind in the Willows
and All the new songs performed were excellent.
Im not that keen on
Diamonds and Rust or Rainbow Blues ( I prefer
your own songs) but your performances of Diamonds
and Rust especially were stunning as were Cartouche
and Ghost of A Rose and I really like your version
of Soldier Of Fortune ( A favourite of mine from
Way Back!) I
hope You and Ritchie enjoyed your time in the
Uk, despite your Illnesses, and I hope you
are both feeling better and that you
will come back to play for us soon.
(I believe The Letter
I wrote to you at Cheltenham arrived.) I'm
a bit embarassed by it, but I felt it was a good
idea to write it. Anyway I absolutely love what You
and Ritchie are doing with Blackmores Night and
hope to hear more music from You and All your
minstrels soon.

Hello Candice, My name is Henrique
I am 29 years of age and i have been a
Ritchie Blackmore`s fan for more than ten
years and of yours for eight and of course of Blackmore`s
Night even before of yours debut album was released.
The reason of it, is very simple . I am a singer
, piano/ keyboard and acoustic guitar player who
always love the music of Renaissance, baroque and
classical period along with ancient music . I will
get in touch with Hard-Rock , Progressive-rock later
and because of it I adore Ritchie`s decison for
this project of turn your musical creativity into
a renaissance-rock project with his very talented
bandmate , Candice. I still love Hard-Rock and my
band plys that stile , but with a diferent approach
includind my classical influence as singer and piano
player and our guitar player astonishing creativity
and fine compositional skills. There are a vegetarian
store here in Rio who plays Ritchie Blackmore`s
Night Albuns Fires at Midnight every day i have
there for two days and that was played there as
a permamanent soundrack. MUNDO VERDE - Green World
is the name of the store which is a big net of stores
very strong here in Rio . I waiting for you and
Ritchie to come here to ply for us in Rio and as
soon as I
finish the recording I will send My record to you
. God BLESS YOU . YOUR
FAN , Henrique |

Hi Candice,
I just wanted to let you know how wonderful your
voice was last night at the concert. When you sang
Diamonds and Rust i had a tear in my eye and a lump
in my throat. You sounded beautiful. (as did the
rest of BN !!)
I love coming to see you guys perfom, you
always seem to enjoy performing and give a very
watchable show, so well done. I can't wait to see
you in Workington and Edinburgh.
I hope you recieve this - I think you hard work
and efforts should be rewarded.
You are a truly a beautiful person with an angelic
voice and I just wanted you to know that.
Lots of love

Dear
Ms. Night (Faerie Princess),
M on Candle Mountain here. I really enjoy y'all's
enchanted music! It is good to know that there are
people out there who apparently enjoy similar visions
as I do. My mind (spirit) goes back to a similar
era (some would say delusion [but who cares!]).
I believe I lived long ago. A place and time where
and when natural magic flourished! I just miss it.
Thank you & Peace be with you.
Your Friend,
-M. |

Dear Candice,
I hope you are ok! Congratulations! your home-page
is as sweet as your voice!
Well, I'm here to share my History, I'm a Brazilian
'Girl' and about 2 years ago a friend of mine presented
me Blackmore's Night 1st Cd, I was like a dream!
I could see myself in past time! So, in january
this year I went to England to study and I met there
some Druids, very important things in my life happened
there ( while we were listening your songs) ...I
must tell you ...your music involved the whole Order
(Loyal Arthurian Warband...including 'King Arthur
and his Knights') ...and as a representative of
them I would like to say THANK YOU! I was really
MAGICAL! so, while this happened I could make my
1st dream come true...In June I came to Germany
to study German (It's not easy!) and someone told
me about your tour...but in the week I was going
to see you my love went to the hospital(he is fine
now)...but Unfortunately my 2nd dream will take
a little longer to come true! next month I'm returning
to Brazil and I hope you'll give me the pleasure
to have you there some day!
yours under a chilly november sky,

Hello Candice,
I’ve been absolutely taken with Blackmore’s Night.
I love it all. I have always been a fan of Rainbow
and Deep Purple. Blackmore’s Night is the icing
on the cake :)
Your voice is awesome, sweet and soothing at times
rockin’ at others.
I’ve had Blackmore’s Night CD’s in my player for
weeks now. Ghost of a Rose is great. I was
listening to Dandelion Wine on 9/11/03 and it made
me cry. What a beautiful song. You guys really should
get some air play. Sadly, our radio stations here
are pretty lame, and it is almost a miracle to even
hear any Rainbow. Love the Way to Mandalay video.
I could shower you with compliments all day.......let
me cut to the chase.......
My heart was broken in at least a million pieces
because we had to miss the Philadelphia show. We
were prepared to make the 7 hour drive, but a lady
named Hurricane Isabel really wrecked our plans.
Seeing Blackmore’s Night play is on my life's list
of things to do which is going to be quite a challenge
since we never get to Europe. I hope you will consider
playing Raleigh, North Carolina sometime. We do
have a Renaissance Faire here each year, and I am
sure you would be welcomed with open arms.
Thank you for all the great music.
Most sincerely yours,
Beth B |

chills that I have not experienced in a long while...thank
you for that Candice..thank you. *Smiles warmly*

Hi candice....
I don't have the appropriate words to express how
I feel when I listen to your songs. It seems to
me that you are an angel singing at my window......
Keep it up !!
I am a engineering student from Canada (originally
form Bangladesh) and would take this very opportunit
to express my feeling ...... But the thing is that
I don't have enough words to say that.........
so I would like to leave it untold........
Thanks

Hello, Candice!
I wrote you once before, my husband and I are fairly
new fans. We absolutely loved Under A Violet
Moon and just recently got Fires at Midnight (which
is also fantastic!).
Right now I'm going through a bit of a rough time
in my life, and your music has helped me enormously!
I can't tell you how much peace and beauty your
voice, and Ritchie's (and all of your minstrels)
music has brought me.
My husband and I live in Colorado, but are
very much hoping to come to Rothenburg, Germany
in July and see you!!!! That would be an ultimate
fantasy come true for me! We will be dressed
in appropriate garb, so we will hopefully get to
see you all up close! We were in Rothenburg
once before, in 1992, and would really love to see
it again, and see you perform in that wonderful
setting!
Thank you again, and keep the fires burning!

Dear Candice,
it`s me again, Sabrina from germany... I know, you
are surley very busy, so I don`t expect any answer
to this mail... but I just needed to write once
again, because I am so amazed about what you were
writing to Regina from hungary in feburary. You
were writing about your believes and that was, what
my first mail was about. Now I just can`t believe
it. Like I told you in my first mail, I don`t feel
very much at home in my path. And I´ve got very
strong believes... long time I was searching for
a kind of religion, where I fit in. But like you,
I hate these kind of categories everyone put you
in. Over the years I created my own kind of believes
and way of living. I never found anyone, who lives,
feels or believes the same way... cause maybe it`s
really a kind of strange in their eyes in times
like ours. Now, I can`t believe it- you wrote exactley
what I feel and believe about life and being. That`s
so amazing. I wish there would be more people who
can relate to this way of living, cause I often
feel a kind of isolated or just lonley. But anyway,
I just wanted to tell you, that you really made
me happy, because now I konw I am not the onlyone,
who feels this way! Thank you very much. And from
the bottom of my heart and soul, I wanna sent you
too: Lots of love and light;)
Sabrina. |

| Candice- I love your new opening
page, how absolutely perfect!!!!
Brightest blessing for the spring!

| Dear Candice. Yesterday, April 14,
around midnight I lying down on back observed
through binoculars huge moon. At the same time
I listened "Past time with good company"
on CD - a combination of the moon and this
song has produced on me sacramental impression.
Very sacramental song. Even now, after 9 hours
I'm feelling this. Uneraseble sensations.

Merry Meet,
My name is Patricia and live in a very small town
in Washington state called Wenatchee. I've lived
here for 2 years and had been very depressed. I
am originally from Huntington Beach, California,
where everything you need is 20 mins. away including
the Ocean which i love. Your music has taken me
out of this depression and i have appreciated everything
around me. I work in a Day Care and I play your
music for all my little children and we dance and
have fun and life is great again. Parents of my
children always ask me about the music I listen
to, they say it's so beautiful. I always tell them
it's Blackmore's Night, so now this small town is
starting to get to know who Blackmore's Night is.
I've even bought a few CD's for friends in this
town. Thank you so much for your music. Blessed
Be
Patricia |

Hi Candice,
your website is wonderful and magic!!! It´s
a big honour for me,that you
have some pics I took during some shows on the site
! Thank´s a lot .Let me
mail you my favourite song-text.It´s from
Mike Oldfield .This song helped me
very often in sad moments, maybe it can help you
too !! Hush now baby made a start
There's a jewel in your heart
And a star that shines for you
Watching everything you do
Don't you cry so it may seem
You were born into a dream
There's another race to run
You are not the only one
Standing in the morning sun
Waiting though it had begun
May you never run aground
Or fall into the deep deep sound
Stormy weather turns to blue
Here's a song to take with you
In this sence,
always yours in music.
Best regards to my all time guitar-hero Ritchie
!!!
yours
Olaf |

| Dear Candice, I have no questions for you,
I just want to tell you how much I love your music!
I didn't think that such great music exists today,
before I discovered 'Shadow of the moon'. Since
then I am a great fan. Your music makes me
happy, it takes me to another world!
When I heard 'Now and Then' for the first time
it made me cry, because it is so wonderful. Everything
is perfect, the lyrics as well as the melody.
My favourite song is 'The times they are a- changing'.
I connect it with my class- trip to Strasbourg
last October. I listened to it every time we were
in the bus and that was very often!;-) We also
visited Basel, Colmar and Weil am Rhein. The days
there were wonderful and esp. Strasbourg is a
great town. I think I listened to this song around
50 or 60 times in these days.
When I listen to it now, I have the pictures of
Strasbourg in my mind, the fun we had, the jokes
we made, the cold, but very sunny weather, the
impressive cathedral, etc. No song before made
me having so lovely memories.
I hope to see you and Ritchie in Solingen at Schloss
Burg again sometime in the future!
I want to thank you for making that wonderful
music!
Good luck, happiness and all the best for your
future,
Katrin from Germany |
