What a wonderful time we had at the Public Broadcasting studios
filming the pledge drive for WLIW! It was so special for us
because so many of you got involved! From offering to answer
phones, to pledging... you helped to make that evening a sucess.
Thank you!
Here are some photos
for you of that evening. Special thanks to Melissa, the Sweets
and all our friends who participated. Thanks to Jim Manngard
for the pictures! It's rare to find a station that has so much
variety but also education, culture and entertainment. They
always give something "different" a chance. Thank
you WLIW! If you'd like to see the Blackmore's Night special
in your area, click
here and type in the information for your location to find
the contact's you need in order to make it happen. Then email,
call or write and request that Blackmore's Night be shown in
your area! Everyone who contacts them makes a difference...
There is a lot going on in Japan for us this month! We are in
Burrn! Magazine and I am featured in Japan's Cat Diary Magazine.
Our new version of "Street Of Dreams" has been chosen
as the ending theme song for "Junk Sports"which is
broadcast on Sunday night from 8 to 9pm on Fuji TV, Japan's
biggest TV station. The show's MC is a famous comedian from
Yoshimoto & the guests include famous sports personalities
such as Tiger Woods(golf), David Beckham(soccer) & Maria
Sharapova (tennis). They will continue to use our music for
the next 3 months! Our newest cd, The Village
Lanterne is at #6 on their Oricon charts and the DVD Castles
and Dreams is the only International DVD in the top 30.
We will be doing lots of interviews to promote the new album.
Release dates for Europe are in March. There will be a special
limited edition coming out of Germany in a beautiful linen box
with extra tracks, videos and surprises! The release for the
USA is in April and there will be different items included in
there as well...
We will be leaving for our promotional tour at the end of March
and beginning our spring tour in Russia for April. We will also
be in Finland, the Czech Republic, and more! More info on that
coming soon...
But for now, as we recover from the biggest blizzard here on
Long Island...I reflect back on the mountains of crystal coated
snows, painted by drifting winds, and think on the wonderful
times we have ahead of us. This month is known for the 14th,
for the love it represents. But here, we try to make everyday
like Valentine's Day. Never wait for one day of the year to
show your love and appreciation for someone... Tell them, show
them...as often as you can. The best gift that you can bestow
upon someone is your caring.
Your Between Us questions are
ready for you ...
Love and light,
Candice |
