Candice Night

June 2007

Going into the garden at this time of year is so magical. The air is filled with the scents of roses, carried on the breeze and surrounding me... My roses are doing so well this year... hundreds of reds, pinks, orange and yellows all reaching for the sun and celebrating the warmth of the coming months... June also brings our path back to "the road" and to celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the existence of Blackmore's Night with our fans in the UK... Check here to see if we'll be playing near your town!

I've done a number of interviews to promote the tour, and you can hear a few of them via internet. Listen to my interview with Paul Franks for BBC Birmingham radio at drive time- on June 8th (Friday) between 6 and 6:30pm. Listen here.

And my interview with Ben Turner from BBC West Midlands can be heard here: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3.

Faerie MagazineThe Faerie Magazine Spring issue with me as the "cover faerie" is available now. And Fireworks magazine from the UK has an cover story on us Fireworks Magazineas well.

And I'm pleased to say that we have extended our support to local chapters of the Save The Badgers Societies. Please look for a place in the theaters where you can make a donation.

Last month, to celebrate my birthday, I spent some time in Florida swimming with Dolphins, the endangered Manatees, Stingrays and even a beluga whale interaction!

The incredible creatures from the magical deep oceans... so majestic... and yet our oceans are so fragile now. The moon, the ocean, the tides and us... all so connected... and yet we all still need to do our part to protect and respect all of natures beauty as there are many who don't. So, we must speak up for those who have no voice....

Check out the photos from my appearance at Spoutwood Faerie Festival on their official site.

As always, your Between Us answers are ready for you.... I'll see you across the pond...enjoy this beautiful weather...

Love and light,
Candice
