This time of year always brings a sense of joy... just to see the earth springing to life again after a cold winter. The colors, the scents, the sounds of the birds... everything is new and fresh and beautiful. I spend most of my time here in the garden or looking out the window just breathing in the beauty of the spring.
Thank you all so much for the incredible amount of Happy Birthday wishes I received on May 8th. The sentiments were so moving... I was surrounded by so much love on my special day... Here are some pictures of the night we celebrated. That amazing forest themed cake, (complete with a little deer in the woods!) was made for me especially by the Black Forest Bakery The day after my birthday I had a visit from one of this worlds most magical creatures... my hummingbird! He stops by each year always around my birthday and I was so happy to see him again...true magic suspended in mid-air!

We had such a wonderful time on this past tour... Thank you Russia, Finland, Czech! You were all so incredible...

While we were in Germany we did some filming for Hit Giganten which will be shown on May 31st on Sat 1. Other gueststars are Scorpions, Toto and Nina Hagen. Here are some pictures of our rehearsals. We also filmed for the Arte Channel to be shown in France and Germany on the Tracks show in September.

On May 7th, May 20th, and June 11th I will be celebrating with the magical folk at the Faerie Festivals! It is an honor to be crowned Faerie Magazine's Queen of the Faeries at these events so come out and celebrate the mystery of the Faeries and the magic of the earth at springtime!
