Just as the Wisteria begins to bloom in my own garden,
filling the air with an enchanting fragrance and the visions
of lavender dancing in the breezes...to my surprise Faeire Magazine
has placed me in the same beautiful surroundings!
I
am so excited to be this month's Faerie
Magazine cover girl! Click
here for some of the photos taken but not used. Just in
time for my birthday on May 8th, and for my annual appearence
as Faeire Magazine's Faeire Queen at the Spoutwood Festival
on May 6th. This year we had a huge gathering, so much fun!
And we did 4 songs: Village Lanterne, Home Again, Under A Violet
Moon and Faerie Queen. Thank you to Kim and Mary and Klaus from
Faerie Magazine and thanks to everyone who came to the festival
to share in the festivities, dance the maypole and absorb the
magic in the air... Click
here to see the photos from that day!
The last tour was so incredible! In Bulgaria we were honored
to have such a great talent come to the show! Much to our surprise,
and joy, Cuba Gooding
Jr. was fiming his latest movie in Sofia while we were performing
there and we were so pleased to welcome him to the world of
Blackmore's Night! Click here for photo! Such a great pleasure
to meet him and Kevin. Perhaps our paths will cross again...
And, of course, it was wonderful meeting all the
fans at the different shows throughout Bulgaria, Serbia,
Slovenia and Italy.
Just for fun, here is a compliation of memories we shared between
shows... Reflections of Italy;
reflections of Slovenia;
Bard David's making his famous home/tourbus made sandwiches
for us; reflections of Serbia...
So many incredible memories...thank you all for making our tour
so special!
We are pleased to announce our first US based official fanzine!
Jim and Jenna have done an incredible job on Black Night fanzine
with interviews, artwork, renaissance specials, and this is
just the beginning! Check it out here!
We are getting ready to leave for our UK section of the tour.
Check tour dates here!
As always, your between us questions
are ready for you... Enjoy the spring...go out and plant something!
Put your hands in the earth...
Love and light,
Candice
