Welcome October!
The month of my favorite holiday...the last warm breezes are
beginning to blow the leaves from the trees as they dance and
spin with joy on their way to the grass. Here on the island,
you can just start to see the colors start to appear in the
thick green trees. A hint of red, a splash of gold, soon the
trees will be ablaze in color and we will be in awe of mother
nature as always...
As I write this, the thunder is rolling in the distance with
a flicker of lighting to brighten the night every once in a
while. The pumpkin fields here are full of orange pumpkins nestled
in the hay and the fresh scent of fall fills the air as I collect
the acorns and pinecones at my feet...
We have wonderful news and some sad news to share. Let's get
the sad news out of the way first: After 6 years of being part
of Blackmore's Night, Sir
Robert of Normandie, our wonderful bassist, will no longer
be touring with us. He was an amazing musician, friend and inspiration
on stage to us all, but now he must spend time at home with
his children as they are growing up all too fast... So, perhaps
someday in the future he will be by our sides once again. But
for now, we wish him the best of luck for his future and we
will remain, as always, friends...
Now onto the happy side of events: Our holiday album, Winter
Carols, will be released on November 24th by AFM records! Click
here for more details.
As you know, it is a cd that Ritchie and I have been wanting
to do for a long time, and finally the time has come. We hope
that you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it...
There are a few interviews that are out now! On Wednesday, October
18, Susan Henderson's Writers Workshop will have my interview
and some very interesting and never before seen pictures on
her website. Click
here. And a heartfelt thank you Sue!
You can find my new interview with Morely Seaver here.
And for Morley's review of the double DVD Castles and Dreams
on Bellaonline - The Voice of Women website, click
here. And of The Village Lanterne on Bellaonline, click
here.
Upcoming interviews include: Germany's Zillo magazine, Sonic
Seducer and Orkus.
To see what NRV mag had to say about the show at the Olympia
in Paris France, click

For Halloween fun from my past click
here. And just for fun, see if you can recognize anyone
on this
page. I did quite a few characters for this company back
in the day, but this seems to be all that is left of my legacy
with them on their website... It still makes me laugh!
Have a magical All Hallow's Eve!
Remember, the masque is to reveal, not to conceal...
Love and light,
